I'm having trouble getting Party Chat audio to work over my college dorm's ethernet.

Whenever I go into party chat with my friends, I get an error saying "Voice communication disabled, possibly due to NAT restrictions". My NAT type is 1. Does anyone know of any fixes for this? I'm unable to access the router and change ports and IPs as it is a college dorm network. Thanks in advance for advice!
