In my dorm room, the modem for my router is an in wall wall version and unfortunately I have nat type 3 when playing. I can play online games and stuff but I cannot talk to my friends in the party unless one of my friends using spectrum internet service is in the party. Is there any way that I can chat with my friends in the party or am i just screwed? I also heard that plugging the ps4 directly to the wall modem gives you nat type but, i dont know if that’s outdated information. Please help, this nat type issue is very frustrating.
