If you didn't like the first Star Wars Battlefront, you likely won't like this one.

They've done little to add depth to the game, which was a major gripe amongst those that wanted to delve deeper into the first installment. The Star Cards and RNG customization system do little in terms of changing up gameplay.

Each match, unfortunately, feels identical to the last.

Yes, I get it's just a beta, but the gameplay loop is there, and while there will be more variation to characters and maps in the full release, the game feels like a small step forward from its predecessor, which was already a few steps back.

If you're a diehard Star Wars fan, I say check it out. But there are certainly better shooters to be playing.
