So to keep this story nice and short, I bought a second PS4 for various reasons. I managed to get the Uncharted 4 slim bundle for only $250 at Costco with a second controller. Due to the newest system update something went wrong with my PS4 and it corrupted Uncharted 4, Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes, and The Phantom Pain. I had installed all four and left the PS4 on in restmode overnight in order to download every update. Upon playing today I was hit with various error codes and "disk either dirty or damaged" errors. I put the games into my older PS4 and none of them work anymore. Sony customer support told me the only way they can help is if I send them all my receipts (which why would I save a receipt for games that game out 3-4 years ago?). When I told them I no longer had them they simply sent me a $10 gift card, as if that would cover for the four games that broke! I put everything back in the box and factory reset the system. Thank you sony for no help at all and to all my fellow Playstation owners, please be careful with the new system update or if your opening up a slim model for the first time (The Uncharted bundle in particular).
EDIT: For those wondering yes I did factory reset the system and "rebuild database" option multiple times.
