Base PS4, had it for yours without any major problems. Yesterday, it froze four times in quick succession: opening Netflix, just booting to the main screen hub, starting Netflix again, then on the main menu screen for the Witcher 3.
Each time I had to restart the PlayStation by holding the power button, then going through the restore process.
Has there been a recent buggy update or something, or could there be another cause? Is there anything I can do to fix this? I’ve done absolutely nothing unusual. Just turned it on yesterday and it started there.
