PS+ monthly games download when already have the disk?

So I already have MGS5, play from a normal disk, I thought with the monthly free I would be able to ‘download’ it (obviously it’s already installed) and then I wouldn’t have to mess about with disks going forward - is there any way to do this as it currently keeps asking to insert the disk
