PS4 Controller R2 problem

So, today I bought Gran Turismo Sport and I was playing with a friend. He was always getting a better lap time than me which I assumed it was because he was using a Driving Wheel while I was using a controller. But I thought it was really strange the lap time difference (over 10 seconds) between me and him, because we played Project Cars 1 together and he was not way better than me. After he left I went to try the driving school and on my first lesson I was not able to even get the bronze time, and I thought something was really wrong. Turned off all assists , and the same kept happening. Then I thought "wtf is going on" and I checked the throttle bar and my bar was not even going half of it was supposed to go even when I pressed the R2 super hard. I opened my PS4 controller thinking it was some dust causing this and re-assembled it. The same continued to happen. Then I remembered that my last two controllers had the exact same problem and that was why I always bought a new one. So I opened them too to check for similarities. The similarity I found between the 3 was the rubber beneath the R2 button being "broken" in all the 3 controllers. So I thought, let's put the rubber of the L2 of the old controller in the R2 of the new one. That didn't work because they changed the design of the rubber in the newer ones. Then I switched the L2 rubber with the R2 rubber of the new controller and guess what?! IT WORKED. Now I can go full throttle but I can't brake haha.

Did anyone know about this already? If so, does anyone know from where can I order new rubber parts? I don't want to spend 70€ in a new controller when the only problem is the rubber…

Thank you.
