Finished it today and was pretty disappointed. The game felt like a collection of ideas from other games(from Last of Us to Division and Bioshock) and almost totally lost the unique vibe that made the first game special. Mechanically, it is more varied now(although it has it's share of problems, like dumb enemy AI and unresponsive controls with long animations), but the atmosphere is more important in that type of games. Open world felt interesting at times, but at times tedious. Also the game has the most cliché plot out of all games I played recently with uninteresting and stereotypical characters. At least the fps is manageable now, though not without occasional drops. May be all of this has to do with the fact that game director is not Shinji Mikami now. I guess Bethesda bosses wanted the second game to have more mainstream appeal than the first game, and that is why they appointed the other director.
