Any love\hype for Valkyria Revolution? It's out in a week and I have yet to see any sites report on this game

I really have no idea what to expect. I loved valkyria chronicles, and this seems to be a spiritual successor. So far it seems very JRPG-y. (Which I'm ok with) but did they take away the XCOM style gameplay?
