Any love\hype for Valkyria Revolution? It's out in a week and I have yet to see any sites report on this game

I really have no idea what to expect. I loved valkyria chronicles, and this seems to be a spiritual successor. So far it seems very JRPG-y. (Which I'm ok with) but did they take away the XCOM style gameplay?

Couch competitive games?

I've been trying to find games that let you play with a friend in an offline competitive game but can't find anything other than sport games and fighting games. I don't want co-op games (I've found several lists of that), I want something competitive. Do you know any game like that? PSN games welcomed too.

Charging Sration question

After a long time of having to fix my controller in to different positions to charge its finally become impossible to charge it as the port is broken. If I get a charging station will it work on my controller or does it use the same stuff as the usb charger does?
