If I activate PS+ trial to buy a game, when the trial ends, would I still be able to play it?

So on the PSN store, they are doing a + members get double the amount off. So I'm just wondering if I activate the trial and buy a game would I still be able to play that game after the trial ended cause I heard that the free games they give out for the PS+ doesn't work after your membership ended.
