My PlayStation Network account has been banned for violating terms of service even though I haven't done anything

Final edit: I just called, and PayPal took the money back from my account and didn't warn me. I've been having issues with PayPal as of late, and having called Sony's helpline, I was told that my best option is to find another method to pay, for example using a top-up code from a gaming retailer.

I just turned on my PS4 and it told me to log into Playstation Network, but when I did, I received the following message:

"Access to "PlayStation Network by this account has been banned due to violations of the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement. WS-37368-7)"

Thing is, I haven't done anything. I had my PS4 on rest mode overnight to download a game and now I can't even log online. What are my options in this situation?

EDIT: to those who assume I'm hiding something, I have told you everything I know. My PS4 was downloading a game I'd bought overnight and when I turned it on to play today I wasn't able to log on. I'm not looking for sympathy, I need answers.

EDIT 2: I checked with the one person who has my account a secondary console and she didn't play at all

EDIT 3: So PayPal sent me an email about an hour ago telling me they sent back the money I paid for a PS+ subscription without warning and as a result my PSN account got blocked.
