PS4 randomly shuts off, displays vertical lines of colors before doing so.

So, I turn on PlayStation on and I get on a game like usual; ever since I've gotten it, it's been randomly turning off and showing a black screen, then flashing vertical lines of colors. Is this a case of overheating? Should I contact Sony support?
