Should I add a 2TB Hard Drive or upgrade my PS4?

So I have been debating if I should just buy the Hard Drive for my PS4 because I am running low on memory. Or would it be a smarter move to upgrade to the PS4 Pro? I have the launch PS4 and I have heard good things about the Pro. Is the difference really that noticeable? I don't have a 4K TV and I play on a monitor.
