My PS4 has finally had a breakdown. After almost four years of hard use, the HDMI port has magically broken. I talked to a repair place and they quoted the repair to be ~$100. My PS4 also has a weaker controller sensor than it should after I dropped it on the floor one time. I'm questioning whether I should fork over this possibly over $100 to get this old rust bucket running, or if I should just say goodbye to the old pal and upgrade.
My current PS4 has 500GB and I'm really running out of space anyways, so I was thinking of buying the PS4 Slim 1TB version (which clocks in at around $300.) I personally don't know what to do in this situation, and I thought I should ask the good people of Reddit for their opinions.
