What am i missing out on by buying the cheaper version of Elite Dangerous?

looking in the store i noticed that there are two version of Elite Dangerous available Elite Dangerous for £19.99 and Elite Dangerous: Commander Deluxe Edition for £39.99.

I realize the more expensive pack has the season pass and some doohickeys for your ship customization but for the life of me i cannot figure out what is actually in the season pass.

A quick google left me frustrated as most information i can find is regarding the PC version road map, which does not mention PS4
