Did Mafia 3 get better? (Giving games a second life)

As my title states, has Mafia 3 improved since release? Did they add fast travel, character customization, or update the lighting?

Something unique about this generation of gaming is that it appears that some games are getting a "second life" with patches and updates.

Many people talk about how Mass Effect Andromeda is much improved since its release, due to several big patches. Witcher 3, Horizon, and Nioh - all great games on release- have gotten a second wind after multiple free content updates.

This second aspect has been one of my favorite things to become normal in modern gaming.
