Recently my DS4 controller has stopped charging. I replaced the battery with one i ordered online and it still has a problem. It will not charge through either the USB port or the EXT port on the bottom using a charging station. I pulled the battery out of a working controller and put it into the one that is not charging and the Controller started working, but I am unable to charge the battery.
I believe that the battery is not the issue, and that it would need to be one of the ribbon cables or circuit boards not working. However, when i connect the controller to my PC via USB, the controller communicates but does not charge, so i am tempted to rule out the USB ribbon cable and board.
Any thoughts?
