So I have a PS4 that I have owned for about 3 years or so and a few months ago I had a strange thing happen with my controller. It stopped charging to the PS4. I figured it was the controller or the cable and after buying a new controller and cable, the problem was still there. The new Sony PS4 controller did not charge or connect with the PS4.
At this point I brought it to gamestop to try to trade in so I could get a new console. We went through 3 different controllers and finally we found one that works. It was a used, grey camo (not that it should matter) Sony PS4 controller. I have been using it ever since (6 months).
My issue is now I want to own a second controller and I don't know what to do. I am afraid that if I buy a new one, I'll run into the same issue I did before.
Does what I am describing sound like any known issues?
