Never played a Crash game, should I pick up the N. Sane Trilogy?

I've been a Playstation fan since the PS1, but for some reason, I missed the boat on all the Crash games. Not really sure how, but it is what it is. I'm just curious if the new remasters would be any fun for the uninitiated, or is it more of a nostalgia thing that is the joy in playing these games again? Just curious before I pull the trigger.
