What are some easy games for a new player to help learn how to use the controller?

I want to buy some games for my wife but she is struggling with controllers and feels sad that she cant play with me and I just do all the things when we try to play some coop games. So are there any easy couch coop games from which she could learn more how to use controller and other basics? My wife and I would really appreciate your help.
