Which headset is powerful enough to use without an amp?

So I've read previous posts about headsets yet am still confused. I just got the Sennheiser Gamer One's today but I find them not nearly loud enough to properly enjoy explosions and the like (and I don't wanna get an amp because too many wires)... so I'm going to return them. Are the PS4 Golds or Hyper X Clouds powerful enough to use without an amp?
