Will my PAL copy of Diablo 3 work with a US PSN store bought Necromancer DLC?

So a while back when I bought Diablo 3 on amazon, they sent me a PAL copy on accident (I live in the US). I was thinking of buying the new DLC for Diablo, but I'm worried since I'm buying it off the US psn store it won't work on my PAL copy? Anyone have any experience with region stuff like this?
