I unfortunately never had the chance to play this game because I had an Xbox 360 back in the day. The past year, I picked up a ps4 to play a handful of exclusives but I can't stop thinking about playing Ni No Kuni.
It looks like I have 2 options:
1) Order PSNOW for 19.99 a month (9.99 for the first month)
I know that this is a long game so that would probably cost me 50 bucks(3 months) to technically rent it.
2) Buy a ps3 from amazon/GS for 60.00(40g) and purchase Ni No Kuni for 15.00. This would be mine to own. The only thing I have to worry about is the ps3 dying on me.
Anyone else had to make this decision recently? Just curious which route you would suggest.

Update: Thanks for the advice everyone. Great to hear that the PS3s are robust. I will try and find a deal on craigslist
