Hi everyone. I made a post here a few days ago regarding buying a PS4 new vs. pre owned. Well I pulled the trigger and ended up going new for the 1TB HDD and the warranty. Thank you all who commented for the suggestions!
I rushed home to set it up only to find that they've done away with the optical output. This is an issue because I game in my office on my monitor that doesn't have sound. I purchased an Astro headset to get by this with my PC. I only assumed that the new Slim would have had the optical output just like the original PS4 did.
Does anyone have a work around for this? I've found a few videos online, but the adapter people suggest to buy is out of stock on Amazon and I can't find a similar one that I feel comfortable dropping money on.
