Can't get phone to connect to PS4 for use as a Mic? Is this possible?

I found a few tutorials but none of them seem to actually work. I have a Nexus 6 and I was trying using WO Mic. When connected via USB the PS4 won't let me select it as a microphone, and when pairing either via USB or Bluetooth it says "could not find a profile" to connect with. What am I doing wrong?
