Connecting PS4 to Dell monitor with DVI to HDMI cable

Hi,

I got a PS4 but only a Dell Ultrasharp monitor with DVI. Can I connect it with this DVI/HDMI cable? http://ift.tt/2uToejU

If yes, can you get full audio through the DualShock 4 controller? I've got a pair of AudioTechnicas here and was thinking about plugging it into the controller if possible.
