A year or two ago a lightning bolt struck outside my house and basically Fucked my ps4 ad we'll as other electronics around the house (flat screen, home theater system, wii, etc).
After that I bought surge protectors and plugged basically everything worth anything into them just in case.
Unfortunately, Tuesday we had another storm and even though my ps4 was plugged into a surge protector it got fried.
So I'm wondering what the proper procedure is for taking care of my ps4 as it doesn't seem to do shit to plug it into a surge protector or not.
