Hey, before this gets deleted, I haven't found a clear answer on the internet so I'd be glad if you could hear me out.
I've completed HZD once so far a few months ago. I'm planning to return to it on a fresh playthrough but I want to do things differently this time around. I played this game like everyone else, took my time doing side quests and climbing those towers. But right now, it's been a while so I don't want to return to that savefile and thought of the following.
I want to complete the main story without touching any of the side concent. Nothing at all, just rush through the story as fast as I can on the easiest difficultly.
Then, I want to pump the difficulty up and just focus on exploring the world, doing side quests and do whatever I come across, maybe even roleplay a bit. This way, there won't be no urge to complete the main story, the whole map and it's side concent will be unlocked and I can just head in and try my best to survive.
This includes no upgrading, no collecting money or equipment. Is it even possible to finish the game like this? I really want to left my Aloy and the world pretty much untouched. Will the game be challenging, even if it's on easy mode?
It will play like an almost different game when I drop myself into the open world "naked" once the story is complete.
Second question, how long will it take me to finish the story? I still want to watch the cutscenes and listen to dialogue.
Thanks a lot, I know this is a weird request but I did something similar in Dying Light and it was a blast.
