It has been 7 months since the release of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. As a fan of the series did it live up to your expectations?

As a Resident Evil fan, did you enjoy RE7? Did it live up to your expectations? Were you satisfied with the direction Capcom took with the game?

I remember a lot of fans being nervous about this game before it's release considering just how terrible the previous RE game in the franchise was and the fact just how little Capcom showed of RE7. Would you like RE8 to be similar to RE7 where the first person view returns or would you like the devs to go back to the previous few games by making it a third-person shooter once again?
