Looking for a good 1st person shooter to play with my son (9-yo)

We have two PS4s in the house. One his, one mine. I'm looking for a cool game we can start and progress with together. We really like Black Ops 3, but I'd like something a bit more quest based.

Something that will keep our attention long-term.

Thoughts?
