My PS4 menu is now slow and streaming HBO and Neflix isn't working like it used to. Help?!?

Streamining a movie or show, it now stops and buffers every few minutes and the home menu lags tremendously. I have no problems streaming on my smart tv or ipads, so I know the lagging is on the part of my PS. Anybody have an idea of how to fix this?
