[Spoiler] Times when getting the platinum for a game became a piece of cake because of an item added by an update?

So I looked back at FF XV and remembered how long it was on my shelf before I got to playing it. At like chapter 6 when I was farming my quests trophy, I remember the update that made the FFXV Spoiler

I'm curious if this was the first time this happened for me, or are there any other instances where a game became all the more easier to platinum because of an update or because of an item added by said update.
