Both USB ports aren't working help ;(

I've tried connecting multiple devices as well as use different USB cables, but it seems like the ports aren't giving out any power. I wouldn't mind this normally, but I'm getting a new controller...is there any other way to pair a new controller without a USB connection? Also can this be fixed or is a new console the only alternative? :(
