I have had nothing but trouble with Sony products this generation. 4 months after launch, my PS4 started scratching discs. 8 months after launch, the controller that came with the system started having issues (dying fast, right trigger became less sensitive, face buttons started sticking) and then after about about 2 years, the launch controller was basically unusable with most games (My original PS1 dualshock still works fine).
I bought a new controller about a week ago, one of the new Dualshock 4 models with a light strip on the touch pad, and already I can hardly get it to charge. It has to be at a VERY specific angle now to actually charge properly, and if it gets bumped or my desk moves slightly, it stops charging. It is not the charging cable, I have tried about 5 different cables. I cant afford to buy new crap every other month. A controller from the 90's works fine, while a controller from a couple years ago and a controller from LAST WEEK already have big problems.
Does anyone know wtf is going on or how I can fix it? I cant even game while it charges, literally any movement makes it stop charging and the other controller is basically junk now. Please help!
