My Gold headset is flaking on me like a stuck up girl. What is a good replacement?

I heard the platinum set also uses the pleather ear pieces that eventual flake.

I like the ear muff style. It kind of feels more sensory depriving for VR.

Any good recommendations in the $100- $150 range?
