My ps4 was stolen!!!! And I need some unbiased opinions.

So I'm homeless and I was living with a friend that was evicted from his current apartment and I naturally started moving my shit out and two days later, I come to realize that I have no fuckin idea where my soundbar or more importantly my ps4 got to.... Now obviously I don't want to assume that my friend has or had anything to do with its disappearance, but I do have reason to have to wonder possibility. Now when I say about calling the cops I just get completely shit on and shut down about it. So i state the fact that it could only be here or there and then I'M a huge scumbag for "not trusting him", but how the fuck would one not have the right to wonder??? And I never accused him of having anything to do with it by stating that If in fact there were only four ppl that couldve possibly been involved, that it's easy to say that it didnt just disappear. Now I'm a scumbag as I said. So i walk away from the situation and come to find out that im supposed to check the router for my ps4 MAC address or whatever. HIS router... now Idk shit about computers and he knows EVERYthing. He's busy fiddling around with whatever and in fear of being a scumfuckin sonofabitch again I ask, "when ur done can u check ur router for my MAC adress?" In the meantime his dads asking questions like, "can they shut down the system and unlock it when it's recovered" and all that fancy shit... so my friend sorta seems to try and draw me away from this idea by stating that, "a MAC address? That doesn't make any sence cuz that can be changed" but I press on to quote the internet and after after about a half hour of him fiddling on his phone and doing other things simotaniously he breaks the silence suddenly by saying, "I can't find it. I can only see currently connected devices." And I shyly respond by stating that "that doesn't make any sense as the requirements say to do exactly that" he says, "nah I can only see currently connnected devices. Like ur phones MAC adress is blah blah blah..." now is this shady to anyone else and am i wrong to have to wonder if my friend just went ahead an made sure to just delete that past devices in the off chance that I called his bluff and he needed/wanted to give visual proof of the whole, "see man? It's not there." The way I see it is, y did that take u so long and seem so excruciating to accomplish when I know he couldve had it done in seconds (or minutes as idk how shit works), what are the chances that the piece of info I need just so happens to not exist? And when I said that I didn't understand y the step they require just wouldn't exist he repeated that, "only connected devices. Ur phones is blah blah blah...."???? I HEARD WTF U SAID, HENSE MY CONFUSION AS TO HOW THE FUCK THAT COULD BE. AND Y THE FUCK ARE U GOING INTO THE DETAIL OF TELLING ME MY PHONES LIKE IT'S EVEN RELEVANT AND COULDVE JUST NAMED OFF RANDOM AF NUMBERS TO ME REGARDLESS IF IT WAS EVEN RELEVANT!?
