My husband and I were looking for a good new co-op game to play together after we finished 3-starring all of the Overcooked levels last night. I did some research and gave him the names of a few highly reviewed co-op games for couples and let him choose. He chose Spelunky.
Okay... what am I missing? We just sat down and played it for like half an hour and I had to turn it off because it was zero fun whatsoever. This seems like the kind of game both of us would love, but I really feel like I'm missing something because I hate it so far. The controls are fiddly, nothing is explained, and it just seems utterly pointless. Please tell me it gets better.
