until dawn: why does the analyst keep calling me a liar?

this is a game I probably would not have played if I did not get it for free, since I'm not into horror. I could not continue with the game because the analyst is a a-hole who revels in my misery and keeps calling me a liar. he's been calling me a liar almost since the game started. in addition, when my first charater died, he rubbed it in my face, at which point I stopped playing.

the only thing I want to know: why does he keep calling be a liar? there wasn't anything about it in the "honest trailer" that smosh did for the game, so I assume it's rare or something; considering how it was a prominent part of my play through, and something that prominent is almost guaranteed a mention. he keeps saying my choices don't match what I've told him or something. I can't stand this, and I refuse to play anymore, and I haven't played for two months now. I stopped playing mere days after I got the game for free on PS+, but it still bothers me.
