Will Sony give the pro a overhaul to compete with Scorpio in near future ?

I haven't been to into the forums of this or all the speculations just a browsing saw some stuff on the Scorpio. And it seems that the hardware that console has seems to be pretty superior to what the pro has I'm not hating on the pro as I don't have one but the new console Xbox is coming out with seems to be the better console in the current stage. Comes out right after the new call of duty and Black Friday around the corner people looking for the best quality output for a console will be the Scorpio. So besides exclusivity that Sony has with certain franchises what will they do the get an advantage on microsofts new console will the pro have an overhaul and increase the hardware to same if not better than the new Scorpio? Ps5 seems a little to early and crazy to think about and personally I wouldn't wanna see another console where I have to rebuy my games or have no games because they want to have a newer console way to early. Any one else have insight or opinions mine is that the pro should be sonys main focus on gaming maybe get an overhaul to really make it that Sony loyalists and newbies coming to this current gen pick Sony over microsofts supposed better console.
