Help! PS4 is reading some discs and not others after replacing the disc drive.

So around a year ago I spilled water around my PS4 and the disc drive packed up. I found a replica replacement and made the switch and all seemed fine. went to play one of my far cry games and the disc drive made weird scratching sounds, before the game error message appeared and froze up for a bit. Some games work fine and make no sound. Others are loud and fail. I purchased Fifa 18 and now this is error-ing too...
