In search of my first gaming headset

So I want to get a good gaming headset. What I'm looking for is something with immersive sound (Preferably with Dolby 5/7.1), fit comfortably, and not break my budget. I would also like it to work with Xbox One and PC if possible. What are some of your suggestions and why?
