In your opinion, was Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor too easy?

I’m trying to decide whether to buy it or not, and I watched some gameplay on YouTube and it looked really easy. Maybe he was playing on a low difficulty setting or maybe it’s because he was at the very beginning of the game. In your experience, for those that played it, was Shadow of Mordor too easy?
