For the last three days I've been trying to buy from the PlayStation store to no avail. I am receiving the above message. I have linked my PayPal account and been using it since Christmas last year. All of a sudden it has failed with the particularly unhelpful message credit/debit card information is incorrect.
PayPal is direct account access so it's neither credit or debit. Information hasn't changed on either PlayStation or PayPal. This is without a single doubt to do with PlayStation processing the information wrongly because of these facts.
Amazon cards about not exact amounts for games so are totally useless unless you have money to waste just sitting in an account making interest for Sony.
I will not change my account information to anything else add I know this worked last week. I will not add another method because it worked last week. I will not remove PayPal and add it again as it f'king worked last week.
Do Sony block accounts that try to buy two games at once? Does going over the basket limit (£100) "mark" my account? Is there a proper resolution for this?
