Hello, I’m currently using remote play on my iPad via R-play. The app works well, but it won’t last. Plus, the MFi controllers are not great. I tried the nimbus and the gamevice. I don’t like them for different reasons.
I would like to use the official remote play app by Sony on a tablet that could be put on a dualshock mount, like the Sony Gcm10. I would be happy to buy an Xperia Z3 tablet compact, but they are impossible to find in stores. They are rare even on the used market.
Now the alternative is to get a small windows tablet and connect the dualshock via the usb dongle. It would be nice to have a tablet with the following characteristics:
- 8-9 inch screen. Maybe 10, but it would already be a stretch.
- support to 5Ghz wi-fi, because it’s fundamental for remote play
- a usb or mini-usb port for the dualshock dongle.
Do you have any recommendation? I don’t know the tablet market very well and I’m pretty lost. Thanks in advance for your help!
