Question about internet speed and how it works with PlayStation.

I recently got my internet speed upgraded, so i did a doe load test on my laptop and it came up that my download speed is 22.2 mbps, but when I did the test on my ps4(slim) it shows 15.4 mbps. Is this normal? Why is there such a large difference when they both should be the same?
