Controllers will not sync with ps4 at all

About a week ago all 3 of my controllers started randomly disconnecting to the console and wouldn't reconnect. After the first time, I was able to get them connected again for a day or so, but now they won't connect at all. When I use a Playstation supported power cable the light bar glows orange indicating that it's charging, but everytime I press the PS button it just flashes white for a few seconds. I have tried initializing the console, to no effect. I've tried resetting my controller multiple times. Nothing is working. Am I totally screwed?

Also, Ive seen something called a chronusmax that to me looks to be a USB Bluetooth receiver for controllers. Would this or something like it be of any use to me, or do I just need to get a new console altogether?
