Girlfriend is interested in gaming, but has no idea what to play.

I hope this is the right subreddit for this. If not, please point me to one!

I play mostly Nintendo/PC. My girlfriend went out and bought a PS4 on a whim. She's only ever really played fighting games, but she's really ever only button mashed.

I want to help her look for something she might be interested in. I'm thinking something on the simpler side. Something easy to grasp and hold on through to the end. Eventually after she understands some mechanics in video games, I'll make more complex game suggestions.

Some of my ideas were Rachet and Clank or Yooka Laylee.
