Those that have changed the Thermal Paste in the PS4, how difficult was this process, and would a novice be able to do it?

Anyone whose changed the Thermal Paste for heating issues in the OG PS4 must know its a bit tricky, but I'm wondering if someone like me who has never taken apart a console or PC will be able to do this without much trouble.

My question is would people who have no experience really with electronics benefit from trying to change the paste or am I better off with just buying a new PS4?
