Help: Camera stopped working during VR

I was in the middle of playing some VR when my my screen displayed stating I was out of play area...I clearly wasn't as I was in front of it.

I removed my headset and saw my camera no longer had it's red light on...went to the my settings to adjust the camera and it says it's not connected.

I currently tried resetting......complete power off and unplugged from mains....removed all cables and plugged it back in..

I'm completely at a loss as my camera has been in the same place since I got it and my vr experience was...as normal, no issues or signs....just insta death.

Please help D:
